Amazing no oil change green D2a!

It's true, I no longer have to change the oil in my D2a. It leaks so much that I put in 7L a year!! And as I park across the road on the dirt, the oil goes back into the ground, whence it came. All I have to do is change the filters. Woo hoo.
Ok the truth is I have to find where the oil leak(s) is (are) and fix them. As soon as I get my rotator cuff repaired, which could be next year. I've just taken out private health insurance, 12 month wait.
I might have a chat with Hunter and Cuthill down in Geelong.

Eureka! I have found the magic formula.
Last time I pulled off the rocker cover, instead of dobbing Permatex onto the gasket, I slathered the gasket with spray on Hylomar.
So far not a drop under the car.
I have definitely checked and there is oil in all oily places.
Can I enter this in the Guinness Book of Records?

Ouch. Know that pain... all the best..

I’d check, are you sure they cover pre-existing conditions?

There was once a waiting period, but it depended on insurer and policy.

Ive had cover for twenty years and didn't even think of asking!

I stuffed mine while still in Canberra last year, have been working it strongly for the last few months and it's slowly getting better.
