This is probably worth a look, the Donaldson head certainly looks the goods A friend of mine tells me that he can squirt the garden hose into the snorkel head and all is good.

These are used extensively on farm machinery and they are bloody awesome as far as stopping the dust getting into the system, Unfortunately they look bloody ugly on a 4WD.
