There really isn't that much under a D2 that is going to rust up badly in 6-8 weeks unless that is you are planning to park in in the water.
I think you are overthinking this, Just enjoy your holiday and give the truck a good washing down when you get home.
I have spent weeks at a time on fishing trips launching the boat and driving on the beach /coast and my d2a hasn't got any rust in it or under it.
Just make sure you flush the chassis rails thoroughly to get any sand out when you wash it underneath.

I'm trending this way! It's done a lot of beach work. Up to six or seven days. I stay out of the Salty water.
Still... It's a valuable car (Just put a terrafirma rear bar and new ACE rams in it... getting new BFG AT soon too).
My dad used to squirt WD40 all over his Nissan and boat trailer. Lasted years.... I have been doing that for a long time and Might just stick to it.
