    New set of springs

After a new set of springs to replace my saggy ones. Can I get some recommendations from the people, of some standard height springs to fit my 2000 disco?

Don't really do any 4 wheeling, so not after any lift. Just a daily cruiser round town. Still has airbags.

    Cheers!

most std height springs will be fine, most will also be a little stiffer then stock as well.

if doing your self i would just get a set of kings but they are a little stiffer then stock, you will also you may get a 20-30mm lift from the old sagged ones to new ones

If you are not carrying extra weight (front bar, winch, extra battery etc) then I’d go for genuine Land Rover.

    2003, Discovery 2a, Td5 Manual, Zambezi Silver (2012-2018)

I second Kelvo's post after spending many a night trawling thru the forum when it came time to give the suspension a birthday on my D2.

In the end I went with standard height Dobinson springs after seeing a number of positive comments on these here...their std height is in fact +20mm over original. I also went with Dobinson shocks too. I was only after a small lift as I do like the look of a stock D2...weird aren't I?
At the end of the day it made a massive change to the way the D2 handles...like an absolute dream now

Wheel centre to guard heights also came up significantly due to the tired, sagged, springs that were on previously.

While we’re on the topic of new springs. Has anyone tried “Raw 4x4” out? The big selling point for me is they’re made locally and the parent company “Powerdown” have been in the truck/mining industry for years.

I have bog standard LR front springs (only a couple of years old) and they work perfectly with an ARB bullbar, winch and spotties fitted

There's many different options for you at standard height - could go an aftermarket brand like Dobisons, Lovells or King Springs. The spring rate would likely be a bit stiffer which might be nicer for on the road depending on what your preferences are.
Not sure what's in Les Richmonds White Tiger range but they're generally focused on lifts not standard height.

Or new genuine Land Rover. No idea what the price would be like.

Is it sagging unevenly? You could just get some second hand replacement ones and swap in for the sagging ones.

Yeah look, I pretty much feel every tiny hole/bump in the road. I'll give the centre of wheel to wheel arch a measure on the weekend, and post here just for funz.

Thanks for the tips fellas! Will do some price comparisons. Will likely replace all shocks as well while I'm at it!

I wouldn't bother with that measurement. Pretty sure the specs in Rave are for the bump stop clearances. Measure those and you can compare to to the standard specifications to determine how much lower it has sagged.
