Not something as simple as the adjustment of the XYZ switch ??

Nomad if the oil is not nice clean and red i would save the syn and just put regular dex 3 in, as its cheap so you can do a couple of oil changes drops to clean the system out and flush it before putting the syn trans stuff in
also if its dirty order a 2nd filter for when you finish dropping flushing the oil
