kill immobilizer in ECU TD5 NNN

Morning all, I heard that there is a change to the ecu to make them plug and play. To remove the immobilizer, you must cut a pin from a chip or something similar. Does anyone have any idea where to find the info to do it? thanks

Mine is plug and play, you need a map that’s doesn’t have the AS10 module in it.

Cannot help you on the any other method.

Thanks for the reply, I know that there are maps that eliminate the problem through the software. I intend to remove the immobilizer with a hardware modification on the internal circuit of the ECU by applying a bridge or cutting a pin or something similar. Discovery has the BCU while the defender has AS10 but I do not know exactly if the architectures are similar

It's probably going to be a lot easier just to get yerself a Nanocom and disable the immobiliser system using that.

Nanocom then comes in handy for those times when diagnosis may be required.
    Arthur.

The D2 doesnt have AS10 immobiliser

Nanocom can diable the immobiliser on the D2 which means you have to disable the whole alarm system in the BCU so all you'll have it's the central locking
    Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
