Td5 Auto Running Poorly

Sounds a lot like what I went through at the beginning of the year after I had my auto rebuilt. Mine felt like it was taking off in third gear and blowing heaps of black smoke. They tried to tell me it was normal for the td5. haha..I told them otherwise. Turned out it was a faulty torque converter.
I have boost box, hybrid turbo, 23 psi boost, larger intercooler and stage 2 tune.

Agreed, it would be worth looking at the Auto if you haven't already done so.

Thanks Steve. I wish the driving experience correlated to the data visualisation.
I constantly feel like I'm flogging the heck out of the engine. I can't feel any boost or power whatsoever and the pedal is almost always right to the floor.
I have had an opinion from a transmission specialist re the torque converter and trans. He thought they felt ok and a stall test was normal.
My initial hunch was torque converter as that's how it feels to drive - it feels like the 'clutch' is slipping.
I have a spare NNN ECU which I will load with a stock map just for comparison just in case the tuned MSB ECU is faulty.
Although there isn't unusual visual blow-by, the last avenue could be a compression test.

Just a quick question re the Auto Box. I see that it has be reconditioned but have you checked the fluid level yourself. Would hate for you to spend big money to find out the shop did not fill box correctly. Its just not a matter of filling there's a set sequence.

Hi Bazzle218. Not a silly thought, I had to double check that too. Transmission fluid and filter has recently been changed using the correct procedure and the level is good.
