hi there. for what its worth, i tried 2 genuine and 1 silicon hoses. everyone of them had a leak somewhere in the core.. figured there had to be another way to solve situ.. a couple of tablespoons of rad stop leak !!! it took a week or so, but eventually it worked its way into problem area. leak free for the last 20+ k's. :-)

Just a warning to everyone here that's chasing leaking hoses on a td5.
I've only ever had a leak on any of ours when the hose was completely cactus, or when the head gasket is gone, and you can drive for many thousands of km with a stuffed head gasket, and all of those strange leaks that you can't seem to stop.... Then suddenly, you realise what the underlying problem is...
That's not necessarily the case here, but just be forewarned...
