    falken wildpeak at3w

    Hi Guys,

anyone running the falken wildpeak at3w?

Tire will need to be changed before winter and had a look at the typical BFG, and General, but came across Falken. to be honest, never considered them orginally

I'm looking at anything with 3MP symbol for better traction in the snow

    Cheers

I’ve been running these for about 3000km so can’t comment on longevity. However, I have found them to be an extremely good all rounder. Quiet and sure footed on the black stuff and quite impressive off road too, although I haven’t tried them in the mud yet.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them based on my experiences so far.

I've got them on my Defender (there's some pics in the 'what have you done to your Puma today' thread) and very happy with them.
Done about 12,000km on them and they barely seem worn.
Wet and dry grip on tarmac is (obviously) waaay better than the original muddies and on the dismally small amount of off roading I've managed, they've been great. Certainly as good as I was expecting for an AT. Been in mud twice, once in Tassie and once at last year's Winter Wombat and didn't get stuck, so can't be too bad!
Having been up to the snow with the old muddies, I'd be far happier going again with the Falkens.

I have a set on my d2 and i love them. They are quite on the highway ect, i have only had them since end of January and i havent had them off road yet but i suspect there will be no issues. I have driven them in the wet and still have excellent mannerisms. All in all i would buy another set without any worries
