The other standard connectors on the plenum like the idle valve connector and the crankcase sucker on the passenger side are all brass so there is not an issue - the coolant connectors for the throttle body sensor do corrode though they do have coolant going through them.

I'm not familiar with all the add-ons but as I said some people like head aches.

It's a pretty simple solution. People can make it as hard as they like.

But is not a headache - if the plastic connector is a simple tube then a brass connector can be bought from Supercheap for a couple of dollars rather than big dollars for the OEM item for LR. I think a genuine item will be needed but if he has no restricter in his I would be getting a brass one from Supercheap - no headache - easy peasy.

The pipe on the far left, the one in the centre and the big one to the right are all genuine and all brass.
