Yeah, apparently the readout is supposed to be in Bar.
OP says new silicon hoses fitted.
could be worth checking what the throttle position sensor readings on the nanocom show.

SORTED!
Popped the hose at the intercooler outlet!
I had a bit of a tug on all the hoses the other day but as they are silicone they are very stiff so i didnt notice one was off and you cant see it until the fan shroud is removed.
Thanks all for your help .
From where is the boost measured, as it comes off the turbo or at the inlet manifold? Is it possible to loose the boost after it has been measured?
unless you were light on the pedal , that boost could be higher , even if you have a stock map Rick.
Assuming standard set up with no boost box it's read at the manifold , the only way to lose boost after this is if there is a blockage in the manifold runners , so unlikely
Mine's stock as a rock, my boost momentarily peaks at 1.17, pedal to the metal.
omg,, the thrill of it all...[tonguewink]
I thought boost was when you pour petrol into 8 pots and feel the surge? No?

Cheers
Think I'll stick to beer and spirits , petrol gives me indigestion
Isn't Boost a chocolate bar ?[bigsmile]
Noted, If you have 5 minutes , you could mark the knurled nut on the actuator arm with a paint pen and give it a couple of turns anti clockwise when looking from the front of car to shorten the rod until you mod the rest, you should feel the difference.
stuffed manifold gasket would read low boost
