    Thanks....not looking forward to it.
you would loose a bit of pressure before it had a chance to hit the turbo, so less power, less power would mean more right foot, more right foot equals more fuel. Not talking a great deal but "could" be noticeable. Mine is currently leaking and has be the whole time i have owned the car, it is on my to do list.

    Thanks Noisy,
She seems to go like the clappers. Enough for me. If there is no damage being done I'll keep my cash im my pocket for more dire stuff.

Stainless doesn't like to be continually heated and cooled and will work-harden.
Mine repeatedly cracked at the head flange and then one day completely broke off at the turbo end.
It was a good quality unit but not meant for long term use, more for racing.

Fair comment Tombie but that was why I asked the question. What damage? I would like to know!

Hot exhaust gases exit the engine and travel through the exhaust manifold. They can be up to 800*C hot. If it’s leaking then these hot gases are now escaping into your engine bay where they’re not meant to be. Doesn’t seem like a great idea or a recipe for long term reliability...
