Well found..bet you had some sleepless nights over that one.
I helped out my son last night..fitting a front hub assembky while he was at work. Never done a Pootrol front hub b 4.
Son came home...took one look and said that's wrong and will need to come apart again.
I was promptly benched while he went into Nissan mode ..whipped it apart and reassembled it correctly in a flash.
See..we all stuff up at times😃

Spent the day fitting an electric trailer brake unit. Then took the car for a drive. Not real far but upto 100 kph then tried an up hill change down and all seems well. Parked it for the night and will look on the floor for leaks tomorrow, check all the fluid levels etc. Wash off the dust and grime almost 5 months sitting in the workshop has managed to deposit. Then a longer test run. Having never owned a V8 I was always a bit disappointed that the Disco V8 didn't sound all that much like a V8. But now it does, it rumbled off up the road and there was no way you could mistake it for anything other than a V8 motor. What has changed?

Well have just completed a 1000 kilometre run most towing a van, and all went well, except one night it flatened the battery enough for me to be confused by the pulsing relays and the security horn trying to blow. I never had a meter with me so.......The RACQ man started it and said keep a battery charger on it over night until I could investigate where there was a leak. But it was fine. Hasn't happened since. Mate is the fridge in the van drawing off your battery when the van is plugged into the car. Learnt the hard way that those 3 way sucked some amps when stationary.

No Bazzle218 the van has a seperate 12 volt supply and solar panel. I have even cut the power wire at the trailer plug just incase the previous owner had used it to power the van fridge. I didn't even have the Waeco car fridge working off the car it was on 240 volts at the time.
However no sooner have I said how good the LR has been and today the battery was flat again after sitting in the shed for three days. I'll charge the battery and see if I can find the leak. The on board compressor isn't working and I doubt the TC, ABS, etc are working as occassionally I get the dreaded three mates on display. I am blaming the SLAB computer so may be it does drag the battery down from time to time. Guess I'll have to find it and disconnect it to prove its the cuprit. I'll have a look with the Nanocom for faults but it has never had any when I last checked. I have other cars I need to work on, this is another drag on my time.
