Whats the recommendation size for a Disco2 dt5 battery , i don't run any thing off of it , i do pull a caravan, but have not got wiring on disco to run fridge as yet
My old battery is starting to show its age in the cold weather, or like yesterday leave the head lights on for 10 min with out engine running

    Hi David,
    I run an 810CCA in my D2a Td5. It's an Exide.
I had same in my previous D2 Td5. Lasted many years.
I'm not sure of the "official" recommended battery, however I would think it's there abouts.

I recommend the CATERPILLAR 115-2422 1000CCA Calcium Battery. I installed one way back in 2012, on 27th of August. This is my cranking battery, and at the time of installation I was asked by forum members how good is it? and I remember remarking that its effect on the TD5 when called to action was akin to using a "cow prod on a cricket " and it is still is the same today, 7 years on!.....
