    Vibrate badly

Hi. I notice my td5 make vibration pretty badly between 1800-2000 rpm. Even when it is in Neutral I can feel the vibration when I rev to 1800-2000 rpm.

I cleaned the harness connector at ecu but still get bad vibration.

Anyone has previous experience like this. What could be the issue? Engine mount?

    Thanks
    Gus

    Vibration

[QUOTE I had a really bad vibration but down at low speed. No dealer could think of anything but torque converter. It was a bad rear drivers side hub on the way out. I got a good second hand one for $70.00 all good after that.It took half an hour for me to fit it.Easy job.
Hope you get sorted Regards Nick. (Worane) =fourteen8;2949053]Hi. I notice my td5 make vibration pretty badly between 1800-2000 rpm. Even when it is in Neutral I can feel the vibration when I rev to 1800-2000 rpm.

Engine mounts is the likely reason especially if you or the front seat passenger can feel the vibration thru the floor under your feet.

    As mentioned, engine mounts.

Look at the gap between the engine support and the round rubber of the engine mount, you should see what looks like about a 20mm gap. If the support is touching the rubber, its nackered. Replace with genuine as the non gen wont last long, oh and do both.

engine mounts cause vibration at idle as well .
easy enough to check by putting light pressure on the sump with a jack and rubber or timber between jack and sump to see if it goes away
