I have found that once on mine and the plugs were on the 1st lot of speed sensors, they now use a single wire from sensor to computer.
the plugs were another source of failure and I removed the plug and soldered the wire together not as easy as it sounds and the good heat shrink with glue, it is still on the car.
disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,
detriot locker, lsd front,C.D.L kit, chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift, rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.

Thanks for the timely advice - my amigos are back, it’s the same wheel but this time Hawkeye says “broken wire”. I’ll unplug and check the resistance. Luckily I decided to save the sensors off the hubs I’ve had to replace not so long ago and so should be able to put things right easily enough.
