Thread: air con bearing

Hi all has any one changed the bearing in the air con compressor mine is making a rattling noise when I turn the air con on stops when I turn the air con to eco thanks for any help. Are the bearings the same in the d2 and the d1.

Watch that it’s not the harmonic balancer
The additional load of the AC can make it rattle
Often looks like AC but can often be the harmonic balancer if it’s a TD5
