    Put simply; if you TC is causing issues in sand - your tyre pressures are wrong.

    Later 02,which are MY03 had CDL,any D2 before that didn't have it factory fitted.

    In fact the MY02 didn't have the internals in the TC,so a lever couldn't be fitted aftermarket,without a lot of difficulty.

    Pic of in cab lever set up would be good.

    With factory set up,CDL could be engaged in low or high range,either MY03 or MY04 model runs.
    I just checked and it is a 06/01 build and the badge does not indicate cdl engagment ,if I cant get a vacuum kit in the next week I will swap leavers and get some photos

    back in the early D2 days there was an aftermarket kit that engaged cdl in low range if you had the internals. Don’t know anything else but I looked at it for my 02 model but happily found the real D2a bits before the prices went crazy.

    That was the John Davis Motorworks / Davis Performance Landys mechanism.
