The D2 long range tanks I've seen are longer , a bit wider and with more volume above the top to the sides of the pump /sender than standard

Get about 300k or so before the gauge reads full.
the long ranger tank extends upwards from a stock tank and is above the tank pump entry when full.
I think it would drive you nuts trying to work out how to bend and extend the arm to go from full correctly.
I also have the RH extra tank to get 150 litres although that shouldn’t affect the gauge reading.
The pump and gauge are spring loaded to sit snug on the bottom of the tank so empty is always correct.
    regards PhilipA
BTW the Long Ranger tapers more towards the back than a stov
ck tank so the distance to move between gauge graduations declines as you get towards empty.
