For the Australian market the 03/04 D2 model order was the base model followed by S, SE and HSE at the top of the range. Other markets had different spec levels and badging.

Besides the centre console the Dash timber was a just a faux wood strip above the glovebox.

    cheers

I didn't know the Platinum was available in black too. I've only come across silver versions.

So I've ended up with a 2003 build TD5 D2, so that should (hopefully) have larger spec IC?

    HSE's, Platinum, and whatever else.

They might have some HSE features but mostly just added accessories to tempt buyers.
Found 2 HSE's listed on carsales.com, neither of which turned out to be HSE's.
Some were Platinum's with full/faux leather, others were "S" with 7 seats, and none of the sellers seemed to be sure of what they were actually selling as far as spec level went.
