Thanks Red90. I'm particularly interested as I purchased my Ashcroft Transmission ATB's in late 2013 and have always felt over the time (7 years/100,000km) that their performance was degrading and they were not working as well as they used to anymore...
I've recently removed the rear one and replaced it with an Eaton Detroit Locker seeking more positive traction.
While doing this I also replaced the diff oil. I had been using Penrite ProGear with is fully synthetic and has the slip additives for the conventional LSDs. Replacing with the standard Penrite mineral Gear Oil, which doesn't contain the LSD additives, immediately improved the front ATB effectiveness.
