Can not open from inside when car is armed?

Last night I was reading a piece of hot news from the US where a Tesla owner locked his car thieves inside the car by using his phone after he was asked to get out of his car. It was such a cool function.

Only this afternoon I found that if I stay inside my D2 and arm the car by the remote, all physical door handles do not work to open any doors, then I have no choice to open the doors unless I press the remote to disarm the car.

This seems a bit of awkward to me because imagining of the situation if you forgot to lock the child inside the car by arming it via the remote, then suddenly the remote went broken by itself or run out of battery, how can my child and I open the doors? (we assume not using key to open doors from the outside as one solution)

It's called super lock and usually takes 2 pushes of the lock button on the fob.
Had a hilarious experience once where the wife was driving in a treasure hunt and left the handbrake partly on.
Smoke started to fill the car.
She tried in a panicky way to remove the key thus superlocking the car. The unlock switch on the dash does not work for obvious reasons.
Much confusion as 2 others tried to exit.
Fixed with one unlock on the fob.
The others are reluctant to travel with us now.

@Pedro_The_Swift: No, it won't do anything.

@PhilipsA: I thought Super Lock was to open the doors in 2 stages (which mine still has the same thing) that open driver door at the first unlock press, then all other doors with the 2nd unlock press.

It will arm the car via remote with ONLY 1 of lock press.

Now I understand this Super Lock mechanism.

Actually the Central Locking button will NOT be activated (no feeding power) when the car is armed, so pressing Central locking button will be no joy in the case you arm via remote.

Even if you try to use the key to turn on ACC+ or IGN+ power, then all of those Central locking button and doors locks, door handles still NOT working.

ONLY the disarm function (Unlock) via remote would return the door locks, door handles, and Central locking button on the dash back to its normal working stage. This is very different with many other Toyota, Honda, Mazda... cars at the same era, so it might be the reason LR called them SUPER LOCK. And I now agree this is very "super l"ock because it is "electrical signal lock via remote and BCM" rather than via electrical-physical lock like others at that age.

I also found out that, when the car is armed via remote, I could turn on the ACC+ and IGN+ power with a key, so I could wind up and down the windows (of course, the car will sound the alarm and flash its emergency lights in panic mode) and get out/in of the car.

SO, the answer for my question is quite clear now. Get a spare key (only the physical key that could turn on the IGN+) which you can have it for less than $15 including key cut, and put it in the glove box for that funny Super Lock Emergency case (if ever happens). And get out/in via Windows

As I think you have acknowledged the 2 press thing is different to superlock which works on LOCKING.

You can program the SLABS or BCM whatever via Nanocom to UNLOCK all doors with one press which I have done as I found the 2 stage opening a PITA.

Combined with an option to disable the vehicle would be a smart idea.

In many cars (at least I already found out in my TD5 and some others), it is possible and not much time (a few hours) to setup a full new add-on system of turning ON / OFF the engine wireless via phone, and also to do keyless entry via phone at the same time with using original key fob. This is just a bit of electrical thing rather than rocket science like Tesla is (trying) advertising.
