Amigos gone but now no speedo
In the footwell the top side of the upper cardboard kick panel has a foam rubber liner glued to it which holds onto water - peel it off and you might find evidence of past water ingress. Below is a pic of mine....

Since you've told me where to test for continuity, I can probably manage that. I remember the pink/green wire from fitting the speedo corrector. Also, my vehicle doesn't have ACE so do I still need to check C0647?

Knowing now that you installed a speedo corrector is important information - have you verified that you still have 12V feed. Where are you taking the 12V from for the speedo corrector ? NB: is cruise control working ? NBB: The speedo and cruise control both take their signal from the header connector. If one is working and the other not, then that will direct further diagnosis.
