    front door jammed(hard). (edit: fixed!)

I'm hoping for some guidance re the pass front door being jammed.
I posted a reply in the what happened too thread re the front door window issue, which transpired into rear pass door a bit stuffed(fixed) and then rear drivers side door window coming loose.
Years of neglect is taking it's toll on poor brothers D2.
But the major issue is the front pass door, being jammed hard.
I've checked the locking mechanism and it unlocks. Neither inside handle nor outside handle will open door. Window now goes up and down(yay) so I can just get into the insides of the door.
Handles move their respective parts on the lock mechanism, lock itself unlocks, confirmed with central locking AND inside handle.
If door is locked, inside handle unlocks it first and then pull again to open. No budge.
I've banged and (got son) to kick from inside with me holding handles open, thinking it's just wedged or something and needs a bigger hammer type operation. Nothing.

Off my spares, I've checked the operation of the latch mechanism, and can work out how to force unlock it if there was a bound up lever or something, but I'm sure the door is 'unlocked'... just jammed internally.
It feels like it's locked when the handles are pulled .. that is, no slight resistance just prior to unlatching itself. Just limp handles like they're still locked.
No room to squeeze anything between internal parts of the lock mechanism and the window frame too.

Short of cutting door off! .... any suggestions for trying to get it opened?

    TIA

Just to get back to this one ... damned thing sorted itself!

I was outside having another nail in the coffin, wondering what to do, thought to give it a go again and for no rhyme or reason it just opened .. like nothing was wrong!
And as I thought, it was just jammed(somehow).
I must have opened and closed it minimum 10-20 times, and like there's nothing wrong.

It's good that you've got the doors open because now the following might be helpful in pointing to a possible cause ...
On my brother’s D2 the front passenger door was always “tricky” to open from the outside, requiring a sharp tug on the handle at the right point to coax the door open. Over time it did get progressively worse until nobody other than he could open the door (he had the "knack") until one day even he couldn’t. Then my driver’s door started to develop the same symptoms. Lubricating the mechanism and adjusting the B pillar latch did nothing so what was needed was to get inside the door and when done I indeed found a problem. In the attached pics of the inside of my driver door you see the window glass slide (bailey channel) and the lock mechanism and a threaded rod connected to it and it is that we are interested in. At it's upper end the rod is connected to the door lock push button. In pic #1 the button is raised and the mechanism is in the un-lock position. The white plastic fitting is to allow for adjustment of the locking mechanism, it is a flexible hinge clasp and I found that it was partially open see pic #2. After closing the clamp and after a few rounds of adjusting and testing the issue was resolved. This turned out to be the problem with my brother’s door as well. The clasp is secured closed with a zip tie so there is no repeat of the issue.
