Thanks. I'll pull the known good one out of the manual tomorrow... Seems to be that the best option is attempting the process from underneath and buy feel.. is this what everyone else feels? Any tricks or to knows?
Is it only one bolt at the bottom?

Apparently it's not the sensor. Replaced it with a known good one and still no fire.
Have dismantled the inside fuse box and can't see anything. One connector behind where the box is located looked a little shiny in my light, so I've sprayed some contact cleaner around and see how it goes..
Since I've changed the sensor, my battery light does not remain on while cranking, so I hope I haven't fixed the problem but stuffed something up in the bcu settings in the nanocom

It's ALIVE... not sure how yet.. going to change the crank angle and relays back over.. I cleaned a few sensors, the map was filthy...
I am new with nanocom and think I may have changed the injector/accelerator settings under the td5 engine settings menu, when I was first trying to get it f going.. When I started rewriting settings I felt her trying to kick with a heap of smoke.. bled the fuel system a few times and she spluttered to life.
The accelerator setting has 3 options: 2 way, 3 way and blank. Mine was on 2 way and I rewrote it to blank.
