    Can an MSB ECU be remapped

    Hello one and all,

    Just looking at some of the ECU remaps and just wondering if any one has reflashed with a new map a MSB ECU or is it something that I'm going to have to
    look at buying a NNN.

    I admit once it is done I probably won't want to do it again but just wondered if any one had done it to their original MSB

    also what is the difference between stage 1,2 and 3 remap ?

    Buy an Nnn ecu get an Td5inside remap and you won't look back, most Tuners say stage maps are rubbish and it's only custom map as per the customer request

    I have an Td5inside remap and Hybrid turbo and it's not stage, it's an custom tune one off

    The MSB ECU can be remapped only by replacing the chip in it. Stage 1 is usually used for untuned vehicles, for stage 2 or 3 some tuning is needed, larger intercooler, VGT/VNT turbo, straight through exhaust, etc. I've tried myself various remapped chips and some worked well others not so well, these worked well on mine Land Rover Discovery1998-2001 TD5 POWER MAX ECU Remap Chip | eBay read the description and you'll understand

    David Performance Landy’s in Windsor does MSB ECU remapping. I’ve run that setup for years.

    Davis Performance gets good reports..sadly they cannot do my MSB.
