    Tyres Disco 2

Anyone had any experience with a 265/70 R16 under a standard height Discovery 2 ? Will they fit?

Went with the 265/70R16. Standard height. Extremely happy with it!

I did not know that! They do sit well. I’ve only seen one other platinum here in Vic and it was silver. Great looking D2a.

I have a black 2003 D2a Platinum but it doesn't look as shiny as yours. Great looking tyres btw. I'll probably go for that size when I replace my existing tyres. It's one size up from stock 255/65/r16, isn't it?

No 255 70R16 is one size up.
    Then 245 75R16 .
I have just taken my 255 70r16 ATKOs off as they are 118 load rating and very heavy and stiff which affected the ride quality. I am much happier with 245 70r16 111Load Bridgestone 693.
    Regards PhilipA

How is the clearance on right lock as I understand that the pipes for rear air suspension run along the outside of the RH chassis rail.
With 255 70r16 and coil suspension I was able to modify the steering lock stops to max, and it made a huge difference in carparks.
