So seeing this again, the top of my unit might just go over the top of the dash proper and I will be able to use the cut out piece with modification (and not be too ugly).
This said the job he did was pretty spectacular.

That should be pretty straight forward, although it will have to come in 2 or more parts due to the size. I can try to make them bolt together at the centre. It's missing a few dimensions though, namely the depth, the size of the gap between the two containers, and the thickness of material. If you're able to source that I can have that done pretty quickly I reckon.Quote:

A couple of thoughts. The housing is made in two parts. The main housing with a removable front panel.
The housing gets screwed to the dash internally so screws are hidden, then a front panel with the gauge attached then gets inserted into the housing held by screws or clips.
My other thought is to have a base plate screwed to the dash, with the main body then being clipped to the base.
As I do not have any idea of the complexity of designing this type of thing I have no idea as to how hard this is.
I was going to make something for that spot for my ems2. But never got around to it. My plan was to make my own pillar pod. Using a ‘hold my phone’ pillar bracket. Was just going make it out of really thin steel sheet.Quote:
