Certain AGMs and a heat shield does fine in the D2. Just need to get that air gap.
Wouldn’t touch an Optima again. Have 2 here (D34M) which are going ok for the moment.
However; The 8x D34 Yellow tops that have all failed in the last 7 years (4 sets of 2) has ensured they will never be purchased again.
I can get far more resilient batteries for a fraction of the price.
Mike i have had a very good run with Full Rivers in various sizes. What ones are you favouring?
