How to identify Td5 head gasket?

Year 2000, D2 Td5 engine and I want to replace plastic head dowels/gasket etc etc.
Owned the car since new and only done approx 220k
    10p engine.

I understand that the head gaskets are of varying thickness and defined by 1,2 or 3 holes.
I want to buy parts before I disassemble engine.

Looking under the water hose fitting on front left of head I see the gasket has a protruding section. It appears to have a single hole of about 3-4mm diam.

Is this the indicator I am looking for? to determine correct head gasket.

Otherwise, where do I look? how do I tell?

    Advice greatly appreciated, thanks Bob.

Yes, that’s the indicator. Myself and others have just ordered and fit the thickest of the three, as the piston protrudes from the block I figured every little bit helps given who don’t know how well the manufacturers tolerances are when producing the new gadgets.
    Cheers, Kyle

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.
