I believe there is a 10 mm socket in the box with Schrodinger's cat, unfortunately the box is fastened with a 10 mm bolt

I believe Schrödingers' cat may have been the original 10mm socket! .. the very first one ever designed and made.
All 10mm sockets followed along the same path ... maybe just part of the DNA of the species.

Terry Pratchett expostulated a third state for Schrödlinger's cat. The first two, dead or alive, plus bloody angry. Maybe AndyG has a point, and the 10mm socket the cat needed had evaporated as well, as is their wont.
