    Injector servicing

    Hi guys,

Just wondering if the td5 injectors should be serviced at some stage? My car has done 223k kms and it’s running well. However, the other day I was standing behind it and could notice some faint smoke coming from the exhaust which I haven’t noticed before.
Not sure if this is the early signs of a service required or if this is all just the norm. I always keep an eye on this type of stuff so curious why now it’s doing it.
    Thanks,
    Phil.

    No. It’s not a Toyota. 😊.

The TD5 injectors are very reliable and don’t need servicing, or periodic replacement.

If you have or can access a Nanocom you can view the cylinder balance values to see if anything abnormal is present.

Other than that clean your MAF and MAP sensors periodically.
    Cheers
