    stray plug on a D2 TD5 auto

Whilst under my D2 I find a stray plug, which may or may not actually have a home to go to.
Vehicle runs OK, but looking to find out if it should be connected or whether it is just one of those plugs intended for adifferent configuration of D2a.
Wires into it appear to be black and maybe white or possibly yellow.
Plug comes out of the end of the harness that runs under injection /air inlet side of engine and comes out just below heater pipes area.
From that point below the heater pipes the plug appears to be on about 300-350mm of lead.

Any suggestions hwre I could look to see it it connects?

looks like fuel temp plug , the sender is on the fuel pressure reg block, the clip that holds it has probably been lost by someone

Looks like it could be for the oil pressure switch.
The switch is tucked in behind the turbo and the harness sits in conduit that runs behind the head over the transmission.
If it is for the oil the red oil light on the dash will not show when the ignition is on prior to starting, it needs to be conected to complete the circuit which earths via the switch when there is no oil pressure.
Also the black wire is only @ 300mm long and does not connect to the harness.
    Cheers, Kyle

Pulled off heat deflector behind turbo and found Oil pressure switch minus plug.
Put new cable cover on plug lead and it went on like it was made for it (and I found that the clip was still on the plug).
    lovely!
    thanks all.
