value relates to height not pressure,

    roughly,
pressure only relates to how much effort is needed to hold the weight of the vehicle, the volume of air at that pressure sets the height. up the weight without upping the pressure and the vehicle squats, drop the weight without dropping pressure and it rises.

it may be the valve block or the bag.

I doubt its the pressure as one side is responding normally, (you have checked that both sides go up and down right?

I've decided it's the compressor. It makes the noises but not the volume. Now to find a compressor before Easter.

Thing is, you are not limited to LR only. The Wabco compressor appears in quite a lot of Euro cars.

They can be rebuilt, but I doubt I'd get the parts before Easter. I'll try to source a used one to get me going, then recon the buggered one.

Cheers John, I believe Audi and Bentley too, although I can't recall seeing a Bentley wrecker in Ipswich.
