    Brains trust, need ideas

    So, i want to buy a roof rack. I'll probably get a cheapy flat steel rack from 4wd supacentre.

    Herein lies my dilemma. In order to get said roof racks home.......i need roof racks. Oh the irony Brains trust, need ideas

    Does anyone have any tips/tricks to secure an almost full length rack (possibly in bulky packaging) to the standard half length roof rails on a d2?

    Im thinking ratchet straps under the rails and over the box "should" be enough but i don't know. Don't really want to find out the hard way that it won't work when the rack comes sliding off in traffic Brains trust, need ideas

    Anyone on here done this or something similar on the their factory rails?

    If your in vic i have a full length Alloy ocam rack for a d2 in the markets for sale under wrecking D2a
