    Turbo noise on TD5

I am hearing the turbo spinning down after I turn off the engine. (Sounds like it is spinning for up to 15 seconds after I turn off engine.)
Is this a sign of impending turbo doom, or just a normal noise?
Recently had turbo off and there did not seem to be any play in the centre impeller, just turned easily, without any noise.

May NOT be turbo at all

Have had a call from somebody who knows his TD5's and he says noise is more likely the centrifrugal oil filter spinning down.
Happy to go with that assessment.

Would agree with that its most likely to be the centrifugal filter, I have noticed that the cheap ones are noisy where as the Mann one and such like no noise at all.

    As above, just the filter.
