Screwed down the gauges last night and the cowling is too weak, even moderate pressure developed further cracking, still got it fitted on and have it on the dashboard.
Going to go the fiberglass replacement now, but for proof of concept, happy. The microphone for the Bluetooth is attached at the front. Didn't bother painting it as going to upgrade as noted.

Should add, due the shaping of the ABS to the dash cowl, there was a slight problem getting one of the gauges in. This was simply just filing the insert a little and it slid in fine.
