Very loud whining noise in car.

I drove a short distance and the noise was horrendous. I turned the radio up very loud to drown out the noise. Son got upset and covered his ears. Stopped the car. Turned the engine off. Still a loud whining noise. Son took dog out of car. Whining subsided.
Lat time I take the dog for a drive!!

Can the mods move this to the jokes thread?
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

My Disco has a similar problem. It is not the dog though. It is usually caused by SWMBO.

I reckon get a older model defener .. oops! I meant defender or series truck

... even an 4 spd RRC will do it!

No matter how loud the 'whining' ... can't hear it over the noises of the vehicle.

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!
