Upgrade Steering & Panhard Rod for 2 inch lift?
Hey, so I'm looking to install a 2 inch lift but opinions seem to vary on whether or not I need to install an upgraded steering and panhard rod to go along with it. Obviously in an ideal world I'd just have the money to go to town and get it all done, but wondering if it's really necessary...
Looking at a terrafirma lift via the Medium load TF023V & TF042 coils with the TF118 & TF119 shocks.
Not looking to do any crazy off roading, more just installing as a safety for beach driving and generally just to get a bit more clearance... And of course because it just looks awesome.
Also upgrading tires to a 265/75/16.
Keen to hear all of your thoughts...
Cheers!

Hi
No you won’t need a new panhard at all.
And as long as the steering dampener is ok, it can stay as well. The factory one is very good.
Now, fit anything but Terrible Firma! It’s cheap junk.
Dobinsons, Kings, Les Richmond, OME (made by Kings) are much better quality.
For shocks - Billies, Koni, OME etc. just don’t look at anything foam cell - again they’re lower performers.
