But some want to add larger tyres. This means more guard clearance as the tyre is so much larger than the original. One of the better ways to gain guard clearance is to install a body lift kit. By doing this all the steering geometry achieved from the 50mm spring lift is unaltered as only the body is raised off the chassis. This will have an effect on the centre of gravity as seen in this illustration. All of this can be engineered as long as your car doesn’t have SRS air bags.
As I said in my earlier post. SRS = no body lift.

AFAIK all Discos from day one have had at least a drivers airbag. so that's a YES from me...
Who is going to ring LRA and ask them what they are on about...?
You might also ask them how they 'extended' the wheelbase on their D2 Show car with the BIG wheels by 4"...?

SupporterPlus it's not like 90% of that article doesn't also apply to changing wheels, sure you can mess your offset up but you don't have too. Tho I'm just salty cos I'd love to run RRC triangles on my d2.
