    Disappearing Yoke Bush

    Good morning One and All,

12mths ago the shifter went in my car because of the nylon bush, now as a novice I attempted the repair mysel there was big dramas and the bush and bearing dropped to the bottom of the gear box, days of fishing I finally got it but when putting it back together I rushed and apparently you should put it in fourth then tighten the bias plate......

now it has gone again this time opening up the top cover the bush and bearing were already gone, thankfully Ive already got the bearing out but my question is, will that nylon/plastic bush do alot of damage to the gear box or will it just get chewed up and come out over time with replacing the gear box oil??

I'd be worried about the internal filter getting clogged up with chewed up / micro bits of plastic

If this happens it will defiantly kill the box.

The drain hole is fairly big, have you had a play around with a bent bit of wire yet i.e. gone fishing for it?
