    repairs to rear window winder

    Happened before xmas break window would not go up or done on motor, could here motor working so finally stripped it to see what happened or failed, what had let go was inside the centre had broken away and the black rubber had split in 2.

    Super glue and metal filings in a bottle and all working good been over a week now and still working.

    detriot locker,lsd front,C.D.L kit,chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift,rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.

    Can you be a bit more specific on the metal filings in a bottle and super glue?

    Did you pour metal fillings and then add superglue to the centre?

    That looks like baking soda and superglue. Easy almost polycarbonate

    yep that was the stuff, was expecting the worm drive to be stripped, still going due to no air con but just fixed that by re-shimming air con clutch.
