Just partially cos the speedo correction doesnt affect the higher torque request to accelerate with big tyres, it's like when you go uphill or very loaded with standard tyres, for big tyres an addapted fuel map is needed, eventually different diff ratios as to get perfect results

Can you please explain how engine revs not matching wheel speed makes a difference to TC?
Most Discovery 2s are auto in the country in which I live, the engine speed often doesn't match the wheel speed so to speak.
Traction control only comes on with the ones I own when wheel speeds differ from each other.
Soon the OP will have the fastest locked series 111 in the World.

It's quite complicated, i'll try to make it as short as possible: the SLABS ECU uses engine data to manage the TC, ABS, EBD, HDC accordingly cos it doesnt simply lock the brakes on the spining wheel, it has a pressure management too based on TPS, rpm and torque inputs from the engine ECU on a data link, the vehicle was "calibrated" from factory for optimal performance on standard dimension tyres, once the tyres have bigger diameter the bigger the difference is the more the management is mixed up cos the VSS doesnt match the engine data for a certain speed and then all kind of oddities can happen if you see what i mean
