    Rear R/H indicator not working

The rear R/H indicator on my D2a has just stopped working. Front is flashing at twice the normal rate as is dashboard light. Changed the bulb with no result. I assume that there's a relay somewhere that's knackered and needs replacing. Could somebody please (a) confirm that this is the case and (b) if so, where said relay is situated? Also, a part number would be useful or is it a generic part that Repco would have?

    TIA

Bloody useless Search function! Just found a lot more info by going to Google. Even found the part no. I now want to check connections at relay so can somebody please tell me where it's situated?

    Thanks

The relay or fuse would affect both front and rear lights, fast flashing is sign of a blown bulb or if the bulb is 100% ok there's a problem on that specific circuit as the load of it dropped and the BCU goes in 'bulb failure" mode by increasing the flashing rate, most probaably a bad contact in the cluster on the live or earth side, check the pins of the cluster where the plug connects cos they used to get pusshed inside and make no contact or the contact at the bulb. Remove the cover of the cluster, start the hazards and jiggle the plug and bulb, push those metal plates, etc, if nothing happens you'll have to check for voltage and earth there

As said, the bulb holder probably just needs cleaning, similar situation a while ago. changed bulb, no difference.
banging on the rear guard sometimes made it work??
had a closer look and lots of corrosion/rust at the contacts in bulb holder.
gave it a good clean, filed/ sanded contacts and all good.

As usual, thanks to everybody for the advice. I'll have a look at the contacts, clean them up and see what happens.
