re window motor, you don't cut and replace the plug on the on the new motor . you follow the existing motor wire which is a piggy back lead into the door where it plugs into a hidden connector inside the door, This is where you connect the new motor plug into.
He did that and the plug on the motor was different. I would have changed over the motor plug. I think it's a waterproof one, the one he put on was not.
A good video if you need to change the cowl, I saw his had the obligatory split in it!
