Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

Have you studied the Rave manual? Pp 64-9 onwards.

I think the air lines are push in ( eg John Guest type) fittings. To remove, push the air line in, then push and hold in the locking collar, then whilst still holding in the locking collar, pull the hose out.

the inlet and outlet are as above but the pipes going to the valves are a 10mm open ended spanner with "olive" connections,be gentle with those as the olive can come off or break easily.

Thanks for the replies. Pirtek and Enzed have the small connectors and tubing. Joiners for repairs as well I hope :-)

I've bought the repair kit from Andy.

How the airlines are fitted depends on brand of air bag.

The factory fittings are screw in. I then switched to Dunlop bags and they are a push in fitting.

I have just swapped to Contitech bags (two days ago) and these are a screw in fitting.

The airlines to the compressor are the same as what went into the Contitech bags.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
