What steps for removing air suspension?

Had to change out rear air legs on a D2a due to ongoing intermittent "drops' and worse when wading in wet areas. (And "air' is a nicer ride, but wasn't working for me.)
Removed the air legs, fitted coils, unplugged suspension relay under bonnet.
Have the "air suspension" light on dash after that, but no chimes.

Later, decided to remove the compressor and unplug the electrics to the pump.
Still have dash light and now I get "chime" over 35kph.
Have a Nanocom and can see select air or coil, but it doesn't seem to stay set on coil and always reverts to showing "air" suspension.
NOW I have pretty much all lights coming on dash.

What steps should I do to remove air legs and pump and shut down the chime and extra lights?
Do I have to reinstall the relay first before I switch to "coil" on the Nanocom, and is there anything else I need to attend to?

When I removed my SLS and went to coils just turned it to coils in the Nanocom, didn't worry about removing the relay, it is still there and it's been fine ever since, eventually removed compressor and ride sensors

OK will return relay and see what comes of that, but so far it has defied any attempt to set to "coils".
I still get the air suspension amber light icon on dash all the time also.

Why didn’t you just put new air springs in?

SLS is very reliable if springs are changed every 8 years and air intake behind LH tail light is extended into the cabin to keep dust out of the compressor.

After you set to coil in SLABS go to next page and "write settings", exit and go to BCU settings - instrument pack and set SLS to NO then exit the menu, turn ignition off, wait 60 seconds then unplug nanocom... after that double check all the warning lights on ignition self test cos nanocom used to change BCU settings without request then you have to go back and reset... important is to unplug nanocom only after 60 secs from igntion off

Many thanks, will be trying that next.
At one stage I had every dash light (and the chime) come on and vehicle didn't want to move in all gears.
It was starting to annoy me big time at that stage, as I am 3300 k's from nearest credible land Rover service option, so DIY is the main option.
Worked out that likely culprit was the xyz module on side of box had picked same time to go faulty
($800+ new), but likely exacerbated by having had to run aircon 100% of time as very humid up in Kimberley's at present, and the condensation can end up getting into the module.
Fortunately, a week ago I bought an 01 D2 to either fix or wreck.
Wrecking won, and after transferring xyz module over, now only have that amber light to get rid of.

    Amber light now gone also.
