    Engine swap V9 for TD5

I have opportunity to buy two Discs at a very reliable price. One is a V8 with flood damage but is tidy, the other is a TD5 but needs a lot of work on the body. But has a working engine.

How easy is it to swap?

V9? Custom bottom end with a 4 and 5 head respectively? Bet it'd sound awesome.

    No V8 sorry
I did state V8 in the post but was writing it at the end of break on the way back in to work.

doable but not easy, the complete fuel system has to change over with td5, including ecu , exhaust and myriads of other things that the td5 has underbonnet, cooling system, different gearing I believe.

choose which devil you want , mechanical work or body work

    I don't know of a v8 to td5 swapover.

Do a body swap onto the TD5 chassis, gearing is the same between V8 and TD5.
