Lots of checking including the slabs earth hidden at the back of the frame, all good and then, found the spare switch set I got and noticed the fitting of the two green ones, the blank for the electric windscreen heater has four and the ORH switch, ohhh dear had swapped them, what a DH!!!! One press and viola

This is a year old thread but the title is right so I’ll butt in.
Up near Dargo on the weekend and found my ORM not operating. It gave a bong and the light flashed, but then seemed to time out without any movement that I could see. Otherwise, I have had no problems.
I’m wondering if this could be a sign of a worn compressor.

If the light keeps flashing and the compressor keeps running without the rear to reach the ORM height means the compressor doesnt have enough guts to inflate it so much and you'll have to change the piston ring

In case you are the one D2 owner on here that hasn't seen this

Ignore the VW bit, it's the same.

I’ve seen it thanks Tins, just wanted to be sure I had the symptoms. Thanks for the confirmation Sierrafery.
