That's cool. You're right, they don't seem to expensive. Will do some more investing tonight. Cheers

The D2 picks up OBDII protocol but the D1, as I understand it,does not. I was reading water temp, intake temp etc via a Carista OBDII module and Torque app on my D2 yesterday.
I have a Nanocom that I got thrown in with my L322 but it's no good to me as it doesn't work with the car (2002 BMW era model - needs GAP tool etc not Nanocom)
@shayne86 happy to sell if you are interested, make me an offer. Tried to PM you but your inbox is full apparently.
Works fine when I hook it up to the computer but will need to be changed to your vehicle's VIN.
I'm in Perth but happy to post.
Chris
Nanocoms are not VIN specific.
When buying a Nanocom you also buy the 'unlock code' for your type of Land Rover. There are also a couple of different comms cables available.
If buying a second hand Nanocom you may need to buy (from BBS) an unlock code for your type/model Landy - Defender, Td5, Puma, Disco, Freelander etc.
You can have numerous unlock codes in a single Nanocom unit.
See Nanocom (shop) site for details.
Thanks
